Workfront showcased the new add-on today at the company’s LEAP 2019 user conference in Dallas, Texas. With the Workfront add-on for G Suite, employees can:
- Manage Workfront projects, such as specific tasks, collaboration, and details right from all G Suite apps, including Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Drive.
- Convert emails in Gmail to Workfront tasks, associate them with projects, assign tasks, or add attachments directly from Gmail.
- Instantly view project details linked to a Workfront notification email and take actions in the Workfront add-on, such as reviewing and approving digital content or updating the status of a project.
The Workfront G Suite add-on will be in beta starting at the end of Q2 2019, with general availability expected in Q3 2019.
